Introduction
Geoinformatics laboratory in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur offers postgraduate courses and conducts original research in various disciplines of geoinformatics, including but not limited to Geodesy, Remote sensing and GIS, LiDAR, Photogrammetry, GNSS, Sensor fusion etc. For more details regarding the specific courses offered, please head to the academics section. A National Centre for Geodesy (NCG) has also been setup at IIT Kanpur which acts as the hub of excellence in teaching and research in Geodesy at the national and international level. More details regarding the NCG, IIT Kanpur can be found here.
